Volunteer with Us
From day-to-day store operations to seasonal art shows, volunteers are truly essential to keeping things up and running at ReClaim It!
At our retail store, we sell materials salvaged from the “dump” for people to reuse, repair, and reimagine.
Volunteers visit the Transfer Station to rescue items already thrown away, prevent them from ending up in the landfill, and then prepare them to be returned to the community through our store. Each week, our volunteers rescue an average of 2,000 pounds of reusable materials that were headed to the landfill!
We also host seasonal art shows and garden events to support artists committed to creative reuse.
Our goal is to reduce the amount of material that ends up at the landfill
and to demonstrate to the public the value of reuse.

Spy and Grab Useful Materials, Salvageable Items, and Hidden Treasures from the Dump.
Sort and Prepare Items for Pickup
As an established volunteer, you can help by sorting through waste to
save reusable materials from the landfill!
Please note: This is demanding work and requires a passion for sustainability. Any volunteer who wishes to glean at the Transfer Station must:
Be at least 18 years old
Volunteer at least 20 hours in the store
Obtain staff approval, in-store training, and on-site training

Brilliant reuse artists display and sell their work at our popular seasonal art shows and events—all made possible by passionate volunteers like you!

Group Volunteer Opportunities
