Position Title: Retail Manager – ReClaim It
Reports To: Board of Directors 
Schedule and Compensation: $24-25 per hour, 35 hours per week including store retail hours: Wednesday–Sunday 12–5 (fall/winter) & Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday 12-5; Friday, Saturday 12-6 (spring/summer)

Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our community-oriented retail space. Physical Requirements of ReClaim It’s Work Environment
- Ability to thrive in a chaotic environment 
- Ability to stand for long periods 
- Ability to bend and crouch, lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance 
- Ability to work in an environment that may include dirt, dust and mold 
- Ability to be reliable and adhere to your schedule to allow for consistent leadership 
- Ability to work remotely on administrative tasks – minor number of hours 
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Prior retail management or nonprofit leadership experience 
- Familiarity with consignment processes and merchandising strategy 
- Strong organizational and communication skills 
- Experience supervising a diverse team of employees and volunteers 
- Commitment to equity, sustainability, and community-centered work 
- Comfortable with hands-on work, including moving displays and rotating stock 
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations
- Develop and execute store layout and daily visual merchandising strategy 
- Oversee and take responsibility for inventory flow between intake, processing, 
 and sales floor
- Oversee pricing of merchandise – initial, sale, markdown, on-the-spot 
- Plan and execute in-store events and special sale days 
- Coordinate engaging street window displays 
- Manage artist consignments – acceptance, inventory, sales for payment 
Staff & Volunteer Management
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise Sales Associates and Material Processor 
- Coordinate training and guidance of merchandising and pricing volunteers 
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator and Materials Manager to keep day-to-day processes running like clockwork 
- Partner with the Communications Coordinator to share our mission, stories, and community impact with the public, supporters, and donors 
- Deliver monthly and annual sales reports that highlight store performance and sales goals 
- Attend weekly staff meetings to coordinate weekly operations with fellow team members 
- Attend quarterly all staff meetings to share insights, collaborate with team members and align store operations with broader organizational priorities 
- Coordinate with board to plan fundraising events 
- Be a visible and passionate advocate for our mission—both at ReClaim It and out in 
 the community
Policy & Compliance
- Assist all staff in keeping the store clean, organized, and safe. Keep bathrooms clean, tidy and dust shelves, sweep floors, and remove floor clutter as needed. 
- Adhere to all store policies and safety guidelines. Promptly report any maintenance issues, safety hazards or store policy violations to the Staff Liaison. 
- Schedule and Timekeeping: Show up for scheduled shifts on time and ready to work. Communicate all absences, planned and otherwise, promptly to the Staff Liaison. Complete and submit timesheets in a timely manner as outlined in current policy.
